Will Bad HG's Cause no pressure in coolant lines?

Ok so after battling for three weeks now the fact that my coolant puking was to coincidental to not be from somthing i did wrong when installing my coolant filter kit (since my puking didnt start till the day after i installed my kit) i am now assuming headgaskets and have come to grips with that. I am going to try make an inline pressure guage this weekend and try it. a few things that stifle me still......

1. When my truck is warm and idling or even after a decent drive ive noticed there is not much if any pressure or resistance on my main large coolant lines. you can grab them and collapse them with ease. Is that a part of my hgs failure some how?

2. When i put my coolant kit on i flushed my radiator and changed my coolant to fleetrite that i got from napa that had the additives it needed. (dark red looking coolant). Is it possible that i still have a air lock in there somewhere? My thoughts were that no bleeding was required since my degas bottle would take care of that?

3. at 100k i bulletproofed my truck, however at the time all i heard about was the black onyx hgs and thats what i in stalled along with arp studs and egr delete and updated oil cooler. so i realize im set to fail with those gaskets as well. I have made it 69k on that set up and now have 169k on my truck. is that about what i could expect out of those gaskets?

I have since moved to the panhandle of oklahoma, dont have the shop or resorces to do the work myself agian and am just trying to not overlook anything before i try to find a place to do my hgs...any help or insight will be appreciated!
