Full production started this week in Claycomo, MO. It's scheduled to go on sale next from now.
Production Officially Starts for 2015 Ford Transit Van
You can now build and price one of these on Ford's site.
Some specs:
2015 Ford Transit Commercial Full-Size Van | Specs | Ford.com
For comparison, here are the specs for an Econoline:
2014 Ford E-Series Van Work Trucks | View Full Specification Library | Ford.com
One interesting thing I'm noticing is that the Transit is 81.3'' wide vs. 79.4'' wide for the E-series (without side mirrors)
The Transit also comes in a low roof (in addition to medium and high):

If I forgo a van, these might actually make a cool RV.

Trying to research a new van, preferably a diesel (so my focus would primarily be on a Transit, Sprinter, ProMaster or Express, but I'm also still looking at an E-series).
So, between the Transit and Econoline, after reading up on the engines, payload and capacity, I want to know which of the two you guys think is better. :program:
