Well, it almost made 20,000 miles without an issue.
2013 F350 Crew 4X4 14K GVWR package fully optioned.
While waiting at a traffic signal at idle, it felt like somebody lightly tail ended the truck. Only no one was there. OK, maybe an earthquake (I've experienced 2 in a vehicle). But we're in AZ, no earthquakes. Then it happened again, and the "wheel spin" indicator came on. Twice. While not moving. Then a few more minor shakes and nothing. Drove to safe place to park and same thing happened a few times which I finally figured out was transmission slip like an old MOPAR I had would do when it was low on fluid. Checked the fluid, perfect. No CEL.
Drove it home and worked fine. Decided to use backup truck (F350 Crew 4X4 V10 5 speed) for the trip to Easter dinner.
My question:
Has anyone experienced something like this??
Thanks,
Erich
