Busted downpipe

So in addition to my cracked y-pipe (second in a year) I also noticed my downpipe has broken where it joins up with the cat. I bought this truck used, how can I tell if this is the original downpipe or an aftermarket? Or should I be looking for an upgrade anyway? The truck does have a mbrp exhaust
