Hello, I bought a 2000 f350 Dually less than a year ago, and just started having a problem. It has about 223,000 miles on it. No aftermarket stuff at all. What happened was it was running great. Then I noticed it was really cracking and loss of power. I was able to get home and checked the fuse, # 19 was blown in the PDB. I replaced it, started it up and it ran great, shut it off then restarted it and back to making noise, but the fuse was not blown. and now idles pretty good but smoking a tiny bit, I step on the pedal and man talk about smoke, not black smoke but stuff that smells like kerosene, sounded like it was missing real bad at the higher rpm when trying to clear it out. When it goes back to an idle it is pretty smooth. Any ideas? Really don't want to start throwing parts at it I don't need. Maybe a fuel regulator? It doesn't stall, just no power. Fuel filter was replaced back in I think November. Any help would be appreciated.
