E4OD to ZF-5

I am in the process of converting a E4OD to ZF-5. It is a 1994 IDI, Super Cab, Long Bed. The truck is 2x4, but I was able to acquire a 4x4 ZF5 from a friend for little money, so thats what I'm going to use. (Figured the extra low gear from the T-case wouldnt hurt.)

My question is, do 4x4 Supercab, longbed trucks utilize the center support/carrier bearing?

(I posted here instead of the IDI forum because i assume that more P-stroke owners have done the conversion)
