Timeline:

2 months ago - 2 or 3 times - sporadic - truck would crank over twice as long before starting - eventually started and ran fine

3 weeks ago - 2 times - cold engine - truck would start but have no power going down the road - had to pull over and let the engine warm up for 5 mins then it ran fine

3 days ago - 1 time - sporadic - cruising at 40 MPH and truck shuts down as if someone pulled the plug. No spitting or sputtering - simply went from rumbling along to dead silence in an instant - sudden death. Truck would crank fine but not fire up after 5-6 attempts

- I keep a spare CPS sensor in the glovebox so I swapped that out on side of the road after sudden death - 2 long cranks - still no start

- Towed it back home

- Changed oil, oil filter, drained fuel bowl and replaced fuel filter - everything I planned on doing anyway that afternoon - truck sat for about 3 hours after sudden death - 1 crank - fired up fine - did have a rather instantaneous hiccup where the oil pressure gauge in the dash dropped but it was a split second right after firing up and then went back to idling fine

Today - did some running around with the truck - grabbed lunch - came out and went to start - long crank and no start - tried 5-6 more times with no luck

- I unplugged the ICP sensor - cranked engine - still no start

- Sat for about 5 mins - cycled the key several times - kept trying to start - eventually it fired up - drove it home without issue

- hooked it up to the AutoEnginuity - P1280 code shows even though CEL isn't on - Ran a live data meter and at idle - ICP volts fluctuated between .80 and .91 volts with the pressure fluctuating between 523 and 539 PSI

I took apart the IPR Sensor and cleaned it and replaced the ICP Sensor both somewhere around a year, year and a half ago
