I have a 2004 f350 SD /w 6.0l TD..
So I called the two local fords and they are telling me that they don't show any locking gas caps for my truck. They are refusing to order it in because none or their books say of its compatible or not compatible for that matter; And they say it will probably make the check engine light come on etc.. Now I understand they probably vent differently from a gasser; but I can't see them not offering this for vehicles that carry large $ value in fuel..
Does anyone have a similar year truck and have found a cap that locks and doesn't have any venting issues etc? I really wanted to get one that looks like the FC1004 that's has the ford logo on the swivel that hides the key slot. Thanks!
