Hey everyone. It's the truck in my sig with now 119k miles. I recently had to replace the TC and flexplate etc. not because it failed internally, but because the blocks that accept the bolts sheered off. Even when I drove it to the garage, the TC was making some god awful noise at idol but it drove fine, no issues. I replaced it with a Ford TC
So I put the whole thing back together, fill it with Mercon V, and take it for a ride. Now what happens is, when in drive, it will hold first gear for an extended time. Doesn't matter how hard or soft I'm into the pedal. Then when it shifts into second, the OD light begins to blink and it will shift fine until I shut it off and start it again, then repeat. If I try to shift it manually, it shifts perfect until I hit drive, then if the OD light didn't start blinking yet, it will downshift back to first.
Any help?
