Buzzer sound coming from behind fuse box? GEM maybe

I have a 2001 F550 automatic diesel work truck. The truck is an XL model without power anything and basically a stripped work truck. A buzzing sound is coming from under the dash and seems to be coming from under the fuse panel. The truck runs fine, no other trouble lights come on. Happens sometimes when you start the truck. I've read about some moisture problems getting in the gem but the truck has a replacement windshield and seems dry. The only way I can get the buzzer to shut off is pull the 5 amp fuse out of the panel but when I do that the horn doesn't work. The only thing I have done to the truck is disconnect the door switches from there holders that control the dome lights. The switches are still connected but just not in the door lever. Took them out because sometimes the door of the truck will be left open all day and I didn't want the dome light killing the battery. Really don't need the dome light on so figured I'd leave them disconnected as It doesn't seem I can get them to stay in place. The truck also has a single position chip. The buzzer also stops if I turn the truck off and fire it back up but won't stop if I just turn the truck off. Not sure what's going on and have no ideal what this buzzer is all about. Anyone have an ideal?
