Just finished replacing the HPOP reservoir gasket (o-ring).
The updated part has a screen in it.
Now, when I try to start the truck, the RPMs don't register until it runs--its a 99.5 and it should and has up until now--maybe they bounce to 20 or 50 RPMs, but not like it usually does.
It also cranks for a bit longer than I remember. Once the truck is running, it stutters for just a second, then no problems, though I haven't taken it for a drive yet.
Oil is 15w-40. Air temp today is about 40, but the sun is out strong today, it is probably closer to 50.
Only change has been the gasket with screen. Could that be interfering enough to effect the cranking of the truck?
Could either of the two sensors on the reservoir have any effect on it starting if they were affected by my cleaning solvent?
