Not always but often times you will be happy having bought the best. Yesterday I bought and had installed by Banks their turbo-back Power Elbow equipped exhaust. This morning I crawled under my truck and made the following observations: The power elbow is a sturdy well engineered casting bend for the down pipe to hang from. The down pipe is formed to provide excellent clearances(My E99 required no firewall mod). The polished SS muffler is too pretty for my 99f250. The pipe bends over the diff. and around my spare tire to the tip are excellently shaped. I am tight with my money, have shopped the market and would highly recommend paying the extra materials cost of Banks(The installation cost are roughly the same, but unless you are real sure of the quality and trust worthiness of the installer, I'd go with Banks).
