Kinda new hear and I need some help. I have a 1987 F250 6.9 extra cab 4x4 - duel tanks. My mechanic (who has been great for years and years) was installing a new front/side fuel tank. While the old tank was out one of his guys accidentally threw out my sending unit - ouch! Believe me he feels as bad as I do. He's doing everything he can to source one (I'm in Washington State) but he said if I could track one down he'd reimburse me for the cost. I know it's a long shot but if anyone has one out on the back 40 name your price - I'm a pretty motivated buyer at this point. I'm pretty shore it's a 19 gallon tank. This truck is my go-to truck and I need it back on the road ASAP. Any help is greatly appreciated.
