Good morning, all. I just completed a 2 1/2 week van camping trip from Texas to Key West; about 4k miles. I left mid 80's in KW to return home last night to low 20's and rain. Oh well.
Anyway, I had an IPR and IDM failure on this trip. Luckily, I had a spare IDM but no IPR. Total repair cost was only $260 which I thought was pretty good. I can definitely recommend Shiver Diesel on I-10 west of Tallahassee. Can anyone offer any speculation about what would make these two items fail? The IDM was replaced about 3 1/2 years ago but only had about 25k miles on it. The IPR was replaced many years ago. Vehicle currently has 130k miles. Oh, I also had to replace the VSS with one I purchased from Advance Auto.
