Abs module and master possible problems

Hey guys I'm replacing all my brake lines with new ones due to rust....

Now that I've ripped all my old lines out I've got a good look at my abs unit and master cylinder.... Is there a rebuild kit available for the abs unit as all I can find for new ones is 500+$!!!!!

I'm unsure if it's bad but if it has any rust inside due to my rusted lines it will negate me changing all my brake lines...

Is there a way to test or to bleed/clean the internals of the abs and master while out of the vehicle?

Here was my problems before the line swap which might help ID If master or abs control are bad....

Frequent caliper failure (either freezing permanently or temporarily every few months -reman units)

When slamming on the brakes the pedal is hard for half second then torpedoes to floor, truck stops but it feels all wrong and it is impossible to make the 35" tires chirp or even lock to attempt to test the abs to see if it controls lockup in the standard pulsing manner...

-note, I found out after I started the project that when one of my brake lines rusted out while I was deployed my brother replaced the line for me and added new brake fluid but failed to bench bleed the master which had gone dry- so I'm thinking the weird pedal is due to air in master.... - and I'm mostly concerned with testing out my abs unit and or cleaning it out well so I don't put any rust into my new system
