Hey fellow Californians, got myself an 08 6.4 F350 and had it for about a month now, and have already learned there are toons of issues that we have to worry about this motor due to our wonderful emissions laws.
Due to the fact we can't do the erg/dpf delete we have to keep all emissions stock on our trucks.
Are there and tips and tricks you can recommend to do? I have the Opti-lube boost added to my fuel, i have just changed fuel filters, and oil and oil filters and have learned due to the oil contamination from Regen, i have to change oil more often than 5k miles. and definitely fuel filters every 10. Im running only motor craft filters as well. any other tips to extend the life of this bad boy?
