I am sure this has been asked a million times and then some but I haven't had much luck as far as searching goes.
I have an F350 DRW on order, rim looks to be 245/75-17. I have read that the stock tires that come with the truck (BFG Rugged Trail T/A) are horrible, and that's putting it nicely.
So first question, what's the biggest tire I can run on that rim while having no rubbing issues and not requiring the use of a spacer?
Second: Anyone have any experience with BFG All Terrains or Goodyear Duratracs on a dually? I have the Duratracs on my current truck and they are excellent all around and they seem to be available for that rim size.
Third: Anyone have the stock BFG Rugged Trail T/As and like them? How are they in the rain unloaded?
I do a lot of city driving and must have a tire that will be good in the rain.
Thanks! :ford:
