I am a new Newby I have very limited Diesel knowledge I own a 2004 4X4 Super Duty Crew Cab LWB SRW Lariat pkg Purchased 03/2012 with 150k now have 203k+ and am suffering from the no HOT START symptoms I took it to the local STEALERS and gave them the $103.00 to tell me that the HPOP and #4 INJECTOR is bad. ESTIMATED REPAIR BILL IS $3700/$4000 I will not go into my Fixed Income Spiel here other than to say I am now suffering Sticker shock. to make a long story short. I removed the Vehicle from the STEALERS CLUTCHES and brought it home found a more reasonable Mechanic who said that he did not believe the #4 Injector had any thing wrong with it. we have replaced the HPOP the IPR and all of the injector seals it ran fine for 1 week now I am back to NO START HOT. any sugestions as to what we may have missed or over looked would be greatly appreciated.
