Have had a idle issue, took truck into dealer with instruction to do:
1) run a contribution test
2) preasure test oil system
3) check fuel system psi
4) DO NOT FLASH
response: ran diagnostics retrieved codes as follows:
P0272- #4 cyl balance / valve train or injector
P0470 - EBP faulty senors or PCM
P0341- CMP sensor reccomend replace
When I spoke with them and ask directly did the injectors indicat an issue no was the answer? So what am I to take from their code collection?
Honestly, I am a bit P.Oed. Not only do they want to replace the Cam Position Sensor (CMP), also reccomended the replacement of the EGR and a new update reflash of the PCM. Just a foot note PCM was reflashed in July 2012. So I am not sure what to make of this. :ford:
