Mid repairs with Q's

I have just finished re-installing both the HPOP and Fuel Bowl after a complete reseal on both. Big shout out to Guzzle and both his personal 7.3 site and dieselorings.com!!! Followed his directions and made the repairs thus far cake.

The question I have is about part of the HPOP repair and one other repair I have left to do. How long should I want before trying to start the vehicle after applying the RTV to the front cover plat that hides the HPOP gear bolt and holds the EBP sensor & tube? I could tell oil does appear to be in the cavity so my first thought is to wait the full cure time of 24hrs instead of the 1hr flash cure, is this thinking correct?

Also, I still have an oil cooler repair and coolant flush to do. I have pulled the intercooler pipes for all the repairs I am doing to the truck, but my current thought is to top off the oil and attempt to start the vehicle and check for leaks on the repairs I've done thus far. Is this a good idea (with intercooler pipes and filter installed of course)? With everything removed I confirmed the leak to be coming from the front of the oil cooler tube, NOT the front mounting block, so I plan to only remove the rear block with the tube and rebuild/reseal the oil cooler tube and rear block.

Thanks in advance for letting me bounce my thoughts off the community!
