Just got my truck out of the shop for stretched head bolts and was running good for about a week, then I started it on a cold night and had the oil/coolant light come on. Shut it off and checked the dipstick to find it was below the low mark. There was no puddle of oil under it. Topped it off and started it again to find that the light was still on along with the battery light going on and off with me revving the engine. I also noticed that the oil pressure gauge seemed to be on the low edge of normal where it always was above the middle. This is with all new Amsoil oil and Evans Coolant. Had the alternator checked and it was putting out 110 amps. Have Optima Yellow Tops and don't know how or where to have them checked. The high beams both went out at the same time while bringing it home. I'm home with acute Bronchitis and am really having a hard time trying to tie these symptoms together to troubleshoot the problems. I am hoping that the oil pump is alright. Any help is greatly appreciated.
