Two weeks ago we have a few days of crazy snow. I was out having fun with the truck and driving around the roads helping friends in one to 2 feet of snow. The snow packed in every place you could imagine in the truck and froze. After parking in below zero temps, I hit the key to start the truck after work and nothing! I hit it again and I got a slow crank but it started.
I put the truck in the heated garage with a fan on the bottom and it looked like it was raining under the truck. At the same time I hooked up a new CTEK battery charger to the drivers side battery and let it go.

My question is, does the single charger charge both batteries when only hooked to one or are they separated when the truck is turned off? I did not want to try a charger on each battery for fear of breaking the battery charger or over charging the batteries.
