I have a 1997 F250 7.3l Powerstroke and I was driving down the road earlier and when i let off the throttle to maintain speed, or to just coast, my truck makes a loud rumble and acts and sounds as if it has an exhaust brake. This does not happen constantly, it has only happened three times in the past 2 months maybe. Anybody have ANY ideas or clues as to what this might be and how I need to go about fixing it?
