I just installed a 2.5" Carli spring leveling kit with an adjustable track bar, Bilstein 5100 shocks and 325/60r20 Duratrac tires. I also have a Carli high mount steering stabilizer on the way. My issue is that when turning the steering wheel, the body of the truck shifts the opposite direction before the tires begin to turn. Only after approximately 1/8 of a turn on the steering wheel do the tires begin to move, and then the body seems to snap back into place. It seems as though the tires have so much resistance that the steering mechanism actually shifts the body of the truck before the tires finally give way. This is true when parked and when driving (which is an odd feeling at best).
Is this typical with larger tires? Is there any way to correct this? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
