hello all. I recently came into a little amount of money ( got a job ) and i'm thinking about turning up the pump on my 91 7.3 idi non-turboed truck. now yes i know if i turn up too much, i burn holes in the pistons. but i was just curious to see if anyone know how much i turn it up to where i get more power, but dont kill my gas miliage because im gettin about 20 mpg. ive seen numerous times to do it with a pyrometer. but i have no clue what it is. ( im very new to diesels ) so any help with any of this, would be greatly appriciated :thumbsup:
