I'm trying to resurrect my old palm pilot that had a custom OBD 2 program that I could run diagnostic tests and read PID data. I'm waiting on information from the company so I've been stuck for a bit. In the mean time I found an EnginelinkHD app for my iPad that uses an ELM327 wifi connector to the truck. This works great when reading data on the newer Explorer and I can read the base data (RPM, etc) with my truck but when I add the newer FORD_mode22 program info and try to have it read power stroke specific data like IPR and IPC it kills the motor quickly. I'm guessing the program data is for newer Ford trucks as it has FICM options that our trucks don't. I'm guessing this newer information isn't compatible with our trucks and this is why it is killing the engine. The program looks to be added if someone had the appropriate .csv file. Does anyone know if that is available somewhere?
