So any of you guys know the pros and cons of these types of front end leveling kits. I want to level my kids 2000 F350 4x4 and don't have any experience with either of these. I leveled a '97 and a'00 many years ago, but I used two inch blocks and longer u bolts. I had no issues with that setup years ago, but now the local 4x4 shop is telling me that blocks are not as safe as once thought. Fair enough, I figure he does not sell the block type of kit. So he's given me the option of either a Rough Country shackle kit or a Ready Lift leaf pack. Both setups will give me two inches of front end lift and level the vehicle. My teenage kid is going to drive this truck so I want to make the right choice in terms of safety, ride, as well as appearance. I'm leaning towards the leaf pack since it seems more inline with the current factory leaf spring system and would simply be installed below the current springs. Any help would be appreciated.
