It has 302k miles on it, and its rougher than hell. But it runs and thats good enough for now.

I traded a 94 Ranger ExCab 2wd/4cyl/5spd with 160k + $1000 cash
At first glance he got the better deal. But I also got what I wanted.
List of stuff:
Absolutely filthy inside and out. steam cleaning and pressure washing is in order
Drivers window motor seized
factory radio is broken, but on... cant change stn, adj volume, turn off... had to pull fuse
heater controls broken. have a replacement though.
suspension is pretty chattery
possible brake fluid leak
needs an oil change
my biggest concern is the transmission. He says that he put in a used (40k mi) tranny in about 20k ago. It shifts a little hard under moderate throttle.
when just driving easy it seems to jerk a lot... also could be bad u joints & motor mounts, etc...
Also after i shut off the truck, I hear what sounds like electrical arcing from underneath the truck, near tranny... I doubt there is much high voltage under there esp once the truck is shut off... not sure what that is...
also a few leaking injectors
AND to make it even more sketchy... my son threw up all over the back seat on the way home... yeah!
