Question about temp setting

My 13 I ordered came in last Thursday. It is a F350 DRW Lariat.

I found how to set the temp in auto. And to change the "my temp". I usually run at "auto" and 70 degrees. When I switch to max, temp drops to "Lo" as it should.

However, when I push auto again OR turn off max, the temp stays at "Lo".

My 13 Focus Titanium, when you switch back and forth, it goes back to the previous temp under auto.

Is there something wrong with my F350, what am I doing wrong, or does the Focus just have a better system?

Cannot find anything about this in the books supplied by Ford.
