New starter, still get the click on turn over

91 f250 4x4 auto, 300 k, I just put a new starter in the truck, and some times when I hit the key, I get that click like it is the solenoid on the fender, I know there is one on the starter, but there is also one on the fender, I believe some of the trucks have two, anyway, I want and got a new fender solenoid, but it still dose it time to time, after a click or two it starts, I just don`t know why, it did not do it before with the old starter, and yes I did test the old starter when I got it out, it would not turn over, so starter was bad, anyway is there a way I can check something to see what is causeing the click when I turn the key, it don`t keep clicking like a bad battery, ???
